Document Controller

About the role

As Document Controller, your key responsibility will be to support the lead Project Manager/Construction Manager and Project Director in all phases of construction. The general responsibility of a Document Controller is to assist the Project Lead/Construction Management in documenting, planning, executing, controlling, and closing a project smoothly and successfully.

Key responsibilities

• Function as Project Admin Assistant of Project Team
• Help Construction Managers in maintaining construction site in a condition presentable to customers and within acceptable standards
• Assist the Construction Managers/Project Lead in scheduling and supervising contractor activities in accordance with job schedules and design partner signed scopes of work
• Provide regular feedback to the lead Project Manager/Construction Manager and the Project Director concerning the contractor's timeliness and attention to details
• Communicate construction progress and completion dates by accurately updating and submitting scheduled reports
• Work closely with the client, contractors, and management team to ensure open communication on all matters
• Maintain and track all construction documents at the job site so that all pertinent information is readily available to management and field associates
• Aid the client representative with all outstanding client requests to ensure they are approved by the client and completed in a timely manner
