DOCUMENT CONTROLLER

We are looking for an experienced and organized Document Controller to support a long-term construction project in Ethiopia. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in site construction works and building projects , with excellent document management and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documents and records.
• Control the distribution, filing, and tracking of project documentation.
• Maintain document registers and ensure proper revision control.
• Manage incoming and outgoing documents, drawings, and correspondence.
• Coordinate document submissions and transmittals with project teams.
• Ensure documents are properly reviewed, approved, and distributed.
• Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy filing systems.
• Track document status, revisions, and approvals.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Prepare document control reports and maintain project records.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of project documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or BSc. in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience .
• Experience in site construction works .
• Building project experience is mandatory.
• Previous experience with international construction companies is preferred.
• Professional proficiency in English is mandatory .
• Candidate should be a resident of Ethiopia .
