Document Controller

JOB PURPOSE

The Document Controller exists to manage the accurate control, distribution, and tracking of all project and office documentation, ensuring records are organized, up to date, and accessible in line with company and project requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Manage and maintain document control systems, primarily Aconex, ensuring all project documents are correctly logged, numbered, and filed.

● Receive, register, distribute, and track incoming and outgoing project correspondence, drawings, and submittals.

● Maintain accurate document registers and ensure version control across all project documentation.

● Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.

● Provide general administrative support to the project/office team, including filing, scheduling, and correspondence handling.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

● Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field.

● 4+ years of document control experience in the construction industry.

● Strong working knowledge of Aconex document management system.

● Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

● UAE/GCC construction industry experience preferred.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

● Good communication and coordination skills with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors.

● Ability to manage multiple document workflows under tight deadlines.

● English proficiency required.
