Document Controller

a. Establishes and maintains files, logs, indexes, control records, or other information.

b. Searches records, assembles materials, and complies information.

c. Assist in creating and revising forms, proposes procedures, formats and standards for office correspondence.

d. Assists with various duties including issuing permits, performing clerical duties, collecting fees and making deposits, and by collecting needed information.

e. Provides information to callers requiring knowledge of Engineering operations, and the interpretation and application of policies, procedure and regulations.

f. Maintains and keeps safe all the printed documents generated by and for the Engineering Department.

g. Assist in document preparation and retrieval.

h. Maintains confidentiality of documents and information received.

i. Do other related jobs as instructed by immediate superior.

QUALIFICATIONS

a. Relevant work experience in document control, project management, or related field.

b. Experience working with many types of files.

c. Ability to create and maintain filing systems.

d. Proficient in Mircosoft Office Suite ( Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook ) and experience with document management systems.

e. Attention to detail and accuracy.

f. Relevant experience in the construction industry

g. Preferably Civil Engineering graduate. Willing to be trained.
