Document Controller (资料员）

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain project documents, drawings, reports, correspondence and records.
• Control document numbering, revision, distribution and filing.
• Maintain the project document register and ensure all documents are properly recorded and updated.
• Coordinate document submissions, transmittals and approvals between the project team, consultants, subcontractors and clients.
• Ensure the latest approved drawings and documents are properly distributed and obsolete versions are controlled.
• Assist the project team with document retrieval, tracking and filing.
• Maintain both electronic and hard-copy filing systems.
• Follow up on outstanding document submissions and approvals.
• Support the project team in preparing documents for meetings, inspections, submissions and audits.
• Perform other administrative and document control duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in document control, preferably in the construction industry.
• Familiar with construction documents, drawings, submissions and approval processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with document management systems is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple documents and deadlines.
• Good command of English and Mandarin; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
