About the role

Admin cum Document Controller role managing incoming and outgoing project correspondence and documents on construction/engineering projects. The role involves maintaining various registers, controlling document distribution, and ensuring proper filing and retrieval of project records.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing project correspondence and documents
• Maintain Document Register, Drawing Register, Transmittal Register and RFI Register
• Control and distribute drawings, specifications, method statements and other project documents
• Ensure the latest document revisions are properly recorded and circulated
• Prepare and issue transmittals, letters, memos and site correspondence
• Maintain proper filing of project records, both hardcopy and softcopy
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly and monthly project reports
• Coordinate document submissions between Project Manager, engineers, consultants, contractors and subcontractors
• Monitor document status, approvals and outstanding submissions
• Maintain meeting minutes, attendance records and action-item trackers

About you

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction/engineering/EPCC projects
• Experience with document control systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with construction drawings and project documentation is an advantage
• Good organisation, filing and communication skills
• Able to manage multiple documents and deadlines with minimal supervision
