Document Controller

We are hiring a Document Controller to run document flow, registers and records for our projects and TAQA submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Register, distribute and file all incoming and outgoing project documents: letters, transmittals, drawings, submittals, RFIs, site instructions and minutes of meetings.
• Maintain submittal logs for shop drawings, materials and method statements with approval status; chase overdue responses.
• Track TAQA Distribution submissions: drawing and load approvals, NOCs, inspection requests and supply activation documents.
• Operate client document management systems (Aconex or similar) and the company's internal filing structure.
• Control revisions so site teams work only from the latest approved drawings.
• Issue weekly document status reports to project teams and management.
• Compile handover dossiers: as-built drawings, test certificates, O&M manuals and warranties.
• Archive closed projects in physical and electronic form.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma.
• 4+ years as a Document Controller on construction or MEP building projects, including 2+ years in the UAE.
• Hands-on experience with Aconex or a similar EDMS.
• Advanced MS Office: Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Accurate and organised, able to handle high document volumes across several projects.

Preferred

• Experience handling TAQA Distribution online submissions.
• Experience on master-developer projects in Abu Dhabi.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
