About the role

This role involves managing project documentation for a Malaysia-based construction project, including collecting, sorting and archiving project documents, managing drawing submissions and material approvals, and maintaining comprehensive project records in compliance with local engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and archive project documents; manage drawing submission and material submission processes
• Use AutoCAD to draw and revise drawings; manage drawing version control
• Prepare and compile method statements, material datasheets, inspection records, meeting minutes and other documents required for Malaysia project
• Track submission processes, submit documents to consultants and clients, maintain document registers
• Learn and master Malaysia local engineering document standards; update full set of project records timely

About you

• 1–3 years document control experience in ELV / M&E / construction industry
• Able to use AutoCAD
• Familiar with construction document workflow
• Willing to learn Malaysia local procedures including installation method statement, drawing approval, material approval
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Fluent in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia & English reading and writing
• Meticulous, rigorous and logical; good at document management
• Overseas construction document experience is a plus
