Document Controller – Finance

Job Summary: Responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining financial documents, ensuring accurate filing, proper documentation, and easy retrieval of records while maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, purchase orders, and other financial documents.
• Ensure proper filing of accounts payable and receivable records.
• Track document submissions, approvals, and revisions.
• Coordinate with the Finance and Accounts team to ensure timely documentation.
• Maintain digital and physical filing systems.
• Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, confidential, and compliant with company procedures.
• Support internal and external audits by retrieving required documents.
• Monitor document expiry dates and follow up on pending documentation.

Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in document control, preferably within a Finance or Accounts department.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and document management systems.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
