What they need
(Keep every site compliant, organized, and inspection-ready)
Why this role matters
At Lotus, compliance is not just about completing documents. It’s about making sure every site is prepared, requirements are completed on time, and important environmental and safety responsibilities do not fall through the cracks.
This role ensures that DENR, environmental, permit, wastewater, and safety compliance requirements across our sites are properly tracked, documented, and followed through.
What you manage here will help keep our sites compliant and inspection-ready.
What you’ll be doing
You will coordinate and maintain environmental and safety compliance documentation across Lotus sites.
In simple terms, you will:
Maintain one master compliance calendar and per-site trackers for requirements, owners, deadlines, status, and supporting documents
Prepare, check, consolidate, and coordinate quarterly SMR/CMR and other environmental submissions
Monitor DENR/LLDA, discharge, and other environmental permits and renewal dates
Coordinate wastewater sampling, laboratory schedules, results, and required follow-up
Keep inspection files complete, organized, and ready when needed
Track inspection findings, corrective actions, and completion evidence
Maintain safety training schedules, attendance records, certificates, reports, and supporting documents
Follow up with site PCOs, Safety Officers, laboratories, contractors, and government offices
Escalate missing or incomplete requirements before deadlines
Maintain organized digital and physical compliance records
Provide accurate compliance status updates to the DCFM Team Leader and Managing Head
Your goal is simple: make sure compliance requirements are organized, complete, and completed on time.
This role requires strong attention to detail, accountability, and consistent follow-through.
Who will thrive in this role
This role is for someone who:
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented
- Can manage several deadlines at the same time
- Takes ownership and follows through until requirements are completed
- Handles official records with accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality
- Communicates clearly with different teams and external parties
- Is comfortable following up on missing or delayed requirements
- Can work independently while coordinating with different sites
- Is willing to attend site inspections, sampling activities, and compliance coordination when needed
This role is NOT for you if
- Just to be transparent, this role may not be a good fit if:
- You often miss deadlines or need constant reminders
- You are not comfortable handling detailed documentation and records
- You have difficulty following up with different people or departments
- You wait until deadlines before raising incomplete requirements
- You prefer work with little documentation or tracking
- You are not willing to report to different sites when required
What you can grow into
At Lotus, you will learn how to:
- Manage environmental and safety compliance across multiple sites
- Work with site-specific DENR/LLDA permits and government requirements
- Prepare and coordinate SMR/CMR submissions
- Coordinate discharge permit and wastewater sampling requirements
- Prepare sites and documentation for inspections
- Monitor corrective actions and compliance requirements
- Build reliable tracking and documentation systems
- This role can help you build stronger experience in environmental compliance, safety documentation, and multi-site coordination.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Safety Management, Business/Office Administration, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in documentation, compliance, administrative coordination, or a related role
- At least 2 years of experience as a Pollution Control Officer
- Multi-site environmental or safety experience is preferred
- PCO accreditation, BOSH/COSH, or related environmental/safety training is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, especially Excel/Google Sheets and shared-file management
A quick note
If you enjoy keeping things organized, tracking deadlines, coordinating with different people, and making sure requirements are completed properly, you’ll likely find this role meaningful.
And if you’re someone who takes ownership, follows through, and wants to build stronger experience in environmental and safety compliance, this role may be a good fit for you.
