Document Production Associate

We are looking for a Document Production Associate to support legal document preparation and production for a contract assignment based in Columbus, Ohio. This is a Contract position suited to someone who can work effectively in a remote environment, manage time-sensitive deliverables, and remain composed while supporting demanding stakeholders. The role focuses on high-quality document formatting, litigation support tasks, and file management across multiple document types.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, edit, and finalize legal documents with careful attention to formatting, accuracy, and deadline requirements.

• Build and update tables of authorities and tables of contents for litigation materials and other formal filings.

• Manage Excel spreadsheets by organizing data, adjusting formatting, and maintaining clean, usable files.

• Convert documents between file types, including Word and PDF-based materials, while preserving structure and readability.

• Clean up and reformat drafts, exhibits, and related files to ensure consistency with legal and client presentation standards.

• Create and revise response shells and other template-based documents to support ongoing casework.

• Handle document processing requests from intake through final delivery, prioritizing urgent assignments as needed.

• Support additional production-related tasks in a remote setting while coordinating effectively with legal and account stakeholders.

• Previous experience in document production, copy services, or legal support work.

• Litigation experience is required, including familiarity with court-ready document standards.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to troubleshoot formatting issues.

• Experience preparing tables of authorities and tables of contents in legal documents.

• Ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.

• Comfortable working with detailed feedback and adapting quickly to stakeholder preferences.

• Capable of working independently in a remote environment with dependable communication and organization skills.
