Documentation Engineer

We are looking for an Engineering Technical Documentation Specialist to support the preparation and closure of technical documentation for two helicopter systems under an accelerated aerospace development, certification and airworthiness program. The candidate will work directly with the engineering/R & D team and convert technical inputs into accurate, structured and professionally formatted IMTAR and other aerospace technical documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical documents based on PowerPoint presentations, technical notes, engineering drawings and schematics, design calculations, analysis reports, CFD/FEA reports, test procedures, test data, test reports, specifications, requirements and engineering discussions.
• Refer to previous project documents, approved formats and templates and develop new documents accordingly.
• Prepare documentation required for design reviews, testing, certification, compliance demonstration and airworthiness activities.
• Support documentation intended for review/approval by HAL RCMA, DGAQA and CEMILAC, as applicable.
• Maintain technical consistency and traceability between requirements, design, analysis, testing and conclusions.
• Incorporate review comments and maintain document revisions and comment-closure records.
• Identify missing or inconsistent technical information and obtain clarificationdirectly from the concerned engineers.
• Manage multiple documents and deliver them within defined project timelines.
• Work flow: Meet end customer to list out all documents, their content, scope/purpose, approving authority, priority, template, document numbering and first page template → Engineering Inputs (reports, data, verbal, mails etc.) → Technical Discussion & Clarification → Documentation preparation in IMTAR format → Internal Review → Correction → End Customer Review → Correction→ Finalization/ Submission for approval

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
