About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically competent Document Preparation Executive to support our telecommunications/fibre projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, updating, checking and maintaining project documentation, technical drawings and submissions. The candidate should have good working knowledge of AutoCAD and EAGLE system, with strong attention to detail and the ability to coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, site teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, update and maintain AutoCAD drawings based on project requirements and site information.
• Prepare technical drawings, layouts, route plans, as-built drawings and other project documentation.
• Prepare and submit project documents through the EAGLE system.
• Ensure all drawings and documents follow the required project/client standards.
• Update drawings based on site changes, revisions and instructions from engineers/Project Managers.
• Prepare as-built drawings and final documentation upon project completion.
• Maintain proper document numbering, revision control and filing.
• Compile supporting documents for project submissions, claims and handover.
• Check drawings and documents for accuracy, completeness and consistency before submission.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, technicians, engineers and Project Managers to obtain the latest information.

About you

• Diploma/Degree or relevant qualification in Engineering, Drafting, Telecommunications, IT or related field.
• 1–3 years or more experience in technical documentation, telecommunications, fibre optic or construction projects.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Experience using EAGLE system is highly preferred.
• Familiar with technical drawings, fibre optic/network layouts and as-built drawings.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to manage multiple documents and meet project deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and follow instructions from the Project Manager/Engineer.
