Dog Bather/Receptionist

Duties

• Greet pet owners warmly, check-in and check-out pets efficiently, and answer all customer inquiries with enthusiasm
• Perform pet bathing services including bathing, coat styling, nail trimming, and basic grooming tasks
• Handle animal restraint safely during grooming procedures to ensure pet and staff safety
• Maintain a clean, organized grooming area and reception space to promote a professional environment
• Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, pet behavior, and aftercare instructions
• Support Pet Stylists staff with basic animal handling tasks if needed
• Assist with heavy lifting of supplies or animals when necessary to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Prior experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care is highly preferred
• Knowledge of veterinary procedures or experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is a strong plus
• Familiarity with pet nail trimming, animal restraint techniques, and general pet grooming skills
• Strong communication skills to engage confidently with pet owners and team members
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large dogs or equipment
• Experience with dog training or equine handling is advantageous but not required
• Passion for animal welfare and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude toward teamwork

Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour
