Dog Bather/Receptionist

Duties

• Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Handle pet check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring a smooth customer experience
• Perform dog bathing, grooming, and basic pet care tasks with attention to detail and animal comfort
• Safely handle dogs during grooming sessions using animal restraint techniques and handling skills
• Assist with dog training exercises or behavioral assessments as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized grooming area and reception space to uphold safety standards
• Support veterinary staff with animal handling or pet sitting duties when required, including heavy lifting of animals or supplies

Skills

• Strong animal handling skills, including dog training, pet grooming, and animal restraint techniques
• Previous veterinary experience or background as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly desirable
• Experience working with animals such as dogs and horses (equine experience) is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling animals or equipment
• Knowledge of pet care, animal safety protocols, and kennel procedures
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
