Duties

• Perform comprehensive grooming services including , brushing, trimming, and styling of various dog breeds to meet client specifications, a bather will be provided to help you wash and dry.
• Handle dogs safely and confidently using animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences, provide advice on pet coat maintenance, and address any special needs or concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use
• Assist with pet care tasks such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and anal glands, etc. related procedures if needed
• Manage kennel areas, ensuring pets are comfortable and secure before and after grooming sessions
• Support pet handling during drop-off and pick-up processes, demonstrating excellent customer service skills

Requirements

• Proven experience in pet grooming for at least 2 years
• Strong dog handling skills with the ability to perform animal restraint safely and compassionately
• Familiarity with animal handling techniques across various species including dogs, and possibly other companion animals
• Excellent communication skills to engage with pet owners professionally and clearly explain grooming procedures or care advice
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to handle larger dogs or equipment safely
• A genuine passion for animals combined with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
