*Must be 18 years or older, able to lift 50 lbs, and able to work 20+ hours/week and during these holidays: Spring Break, Thanksgiving Week and Christmas Break. Please do not apply if you do not meet the critera.

We are looking for candidates who are available weekdays mornings/early afternoons. Most shifts start at 7am, so if you are not available at that time, please do not apply. Evening/weekend shifts may also be scheduled, but daytime is a must. Open availability is preferred.

Trainer Pathway: We offer paid training while you learn. After completing the program, you’ll transition into a structure that includes commission opportunities. You’ll also have the opportunity to earn your trainer certification after 300 training hours and passing the exam. Most trainees complete the full pathway in about a year, depending on experience and dedication.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle dogs during daily activities
• Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, and outdoor walks to ensure animals are comfortable and secure
• Conduct, cleaning kennels, and maintaining sanitation protocols within the pet care facility
• Monitor animal behavior to identify signs of stress or health issues and communicate findings to leads/management
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing pet owners’ questions
• Maintain detailed records of animal care activities, behavior observations, and cleaning schedules

Requirements

• Experience with pet sitting, dog training, or kennel work is preferred but not required
• Strong animal handling skills with knowledge of animal restraint techniques
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitized environment through proper facility sanitization procedures
