Daycare Attendant

Join our pet care team as a Daycare Attendant!

As a Daycare Attendant, you will provide attentive, hands-on care to our canine guests. You will closely monitor playgroups, recognize appropriate and inappropriate play, manage safe interactions, and ensure dogs receive rest when needed.

You will also follow proper dog-handling and introduction procedures, communicate concerns to management, send photos of every pup in your room, and work closely with your team to maintain a safe and positive environment for every dog.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor dogs continuously and manage play to promote safe, appropriate interactions.
• Follow proper dog-handling, introduction, praise, and correction procedures.
• Know and identify all dogs in your assigned playgroup.
• Monitor new dogs closely and report concerns, injuries, unusual behavior, or special needs to management.
• Follow all playgroup procedures, checklists, and management instructions.
• Communicate important information to team members during breaks and shift changes.
• Carry a working two-way radio while managing dogs and request coverage before leaving the playroom.
• Complete incident reports when required.
• Send photos throughout your shift to our front desk team to keep parents up to date on their pups' playdays/pupcations!

Cleaning & Maintenance

Keeping our facility clean and sanitary is an important part of the role. Responsibilities include:

• Promptly scoop and dispose of dog waste.
• Clean accidents immediately.
• Sweep, dust mop, and wet mop floors as assigned.
• Clean and disinfect playrooms and outdoor areas.
• Clean and maintain water bowls, toys, beds, cots, and other supplies.
• Remove trash and complete general cleaning duties as assigned.
• Launder sheets, towels, mop heads, and other cleaning materials.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34.0 – 40.0 per week
