Responsibilities

• Safely handle and control dogs during daily activities
• Assist with pet boarding and animal care routines to ensure comfort and safety
• Conduct animal restraint procedures using proper techniques to prevent injury or stress
• Maintain cleanliness of kennels, pet grooming areas, and animal care facilities through thorough sanitization
• Monitor animal behavior to identify signs of stress or illness and report concerns promptly
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners and addressing their questions or concerns

Qualifications

• Experience in pet sitting, kennel work, or animal handling roles is preferred
• Knowledge of animal behavior management preferred
• Ability to be on feet for 1-2 hours at a time
• Strong outdoor work experience and familiarity with pet boarding environments
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitized pet care facility in accordance with health standards
• Outstanding customer service skills with a positive attitude toward pet owners and team members
