Dog Walker and Pet Sitter

Do you have a great love for animals(dogs, cats and others) and are very passionate about taking care of them? If you can handle getting and giving furry love, enjoying the excited 4- legged welcomes, getting fun exercise and even a casual dress code, then this may be for you!! Your duties and responsibilities would be to check on the pet, take them for a walk, provide them with food, treats, and water, give them medication if needed, and keep them company. Must be willing to work part -time and availability over holidays. Flexible schedule and 2 to 4 days a week. Possibly overnight sitting also. Must live within the Daniel Island/Clements Ferry area. Must be 18+. Great and enjoyable for supplemental income.

• Provide professional, compassionate care for pets
• Safely travel to the homes of clients
• Professionally represent the company and treat clients respectfully
• You must have a working smartphone for services
• Have a valid US driver's license
• Availability for different days and times( some weekends and some holidays)
• Have reliable transportation
• Live within a reasonable distance of Daniel Island and 526 end of Clements Ferry
• You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with and compassion for animals
• Comfortable around various types of animals
• The ability to work in all kinds of weather
• Have excellent time management skills and the ability to work
• Willing to go through a background check

• Provide food, water, and medication as per the pet owner’s instructions.
• Walk, exercise, and play with pets to ensure they receive proper physical activity.
• Clean up after pets, including litter boxes, cages, and any pet-related messes.
• Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any issues or concerns to the owner.
• Follow specific pet care routines to maintain consistency and comfort for the pets.
• Ensure the safety and security of the pets and the home while the owner is away.
• Provide regular updates to the pet owner, including photos and reports on the pet’s well-being.
• Manage multiple pets and adhere to special care instructions for different breeds or species.
• Handle any emergencies or unforeseen situations, such as illness or accidents.
• Doing any additional chores (collecting mail, water plants, etc.)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
