Pay & Benefits

Starting base pay is $16.00/hour during paid training.

In addition to hourly wages, team members may receive:

With wages, mileage reimbursement, tips, and bonus opportunities, many current Dog Walkers/Pet Sitters experience an overall effective hourly value of approximately 18–22/hour, depending on schedule, route, and client base.

Busiest hours are between 9 AM and 4 PM Monday through Friday. Opportunities for extra hours early mornings (7-9 AM) and later evenings (4-9 PM) as well as weekend work. More availability = more hours to be scheduled.

What You’ll Do

Travel to clients’ homes to provide safe, loving, professional care for their pets. Depending on your schedule, your day may include:

• Walking dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities
• Feeding, refreshing water, and providing potty breaks
• Caring for cats and other household pets
• Following detailed client instructions
• Sending visit notes and photos through our pet care app
• Driving between client homes throughout your scheduled route

• Can walk several miles during a busy day
• Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel between client homes
• Live in or close enough to Plymouth/Sagamore Beach to make regular travel practical
• Are interested in becoming a reliable, long-term member of our team

Training & Support

Every JAC team member is a W-2 employee who receives paid training before working independently. You'll learn alongside experienced team members and continue receiving coaching and support as you grow.

• Reliable Transportation = Happy Pets! This position requires you to drive from home to home to care for pets in our clients' homes. Do you have reliable transportation from job to job that can be used up to 5-6 hours per day?
