DOH Licensed Optometrist

We are looking for a qualified, experienced, and customer-focused DOH Licensed Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of ophthalmic and contact lenses, major eyewear brands, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a retail optical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct optical consultations and recommend suitable vision solutions based on customers' prescriptions and needs.
• Have good knowledge of progressive lenses and products from major international brands.
• Accurately mark, check, dispense, and fit Single Vision, Bifocal, and Progressive lenses.
• Have good knowledge of ophthalmic lens materials, refractive indices, lens designs, coatings, and treatments.
• Maintain good knowledge of contact lenses, including different types, brands, and designs.
• Fit and assess contact lenses according to individual customer requirements.
• Handle and troubleshoot Toric, Multifocal, and other specialty contact lenses.
• Assist customers in selecting suitable frames, eyewear brands, lenses, materials, and coatings.
• Handle and resolve optical, technical, and customer-related concerns professionally.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail during consultation, lens selection, dispensing, and fitting.
• Provide excellent patient care and customer service at all times.
• Build good relationships with customers through professional and friendly service.
• Manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy retail optical environment.
• Stay updated on new lens technologies, contact lenses, eyewear products, and optical trends.
• Participate in training, continuing education, and professional development.
• Work well with the optical team to maintain smooth daily operations and a positive customer experience.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
