About the role

Perform animal examinations, diagnosis, and medical treatment. Conduct medical procedures and minor to medium-level surgical operations. Ensure animal health and welfare standards are properly maintained. Develop and implement preventive healthcare programs, vaccination schedules, and routine health monitoring plans. Provide technical guidance and supervision to paramedics and animal keepers regarding proper animal care and handling. Prepare and maintain medical reports, health records, and veterinary treatment documentation. Operate and interpret diagnostic equipment and test results, including laboratory testing, radiology, and ultrasonography (USG). Ensure all veterinary procedures are carried out in accordance with company SOPs and applicable regulations. Coordinate closely with the operational team regarding animal handling, treatment, and daily care activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform animal examinations to determine health conditions
• Diagnose diseases or health disorders based on symptoms and examination results
• Conduct medical procedures and surgical operations including sterilization, wound suturing, and emergency interventions
• Provide education to animal owners regarding proper animal care, nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Prevent disease transmission from animals to humans and control zoonotic diseases such as rabies
• Ensure animals are treated well and protected from abuse or neglect
• Design and implement vaccination programs, healthcare protocols, and health monitoring systems
• Maintain accurate medical records and provide regular reports on animal health status
• Operate and interpret diagnostic equipment and test results
• Coordinate with the operational team to deliver quality service

About you

• Minimum education: Veterinary Professional Degree (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine)
• Active veterinary license (STRV)
• Fresh graduates welcome
• Strong understanding of animal health and animal welfare
• Passion for animals with good communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Willing to work shifts and weekends
• High willingness to learn
• Previous internship or experience in animal clinics (valued)
• Understanding of basic emergency handling (valued)

Tanggung Jawab Utama

1.  Dokter hewan melakukan pemeriksaan untuk mengetahui kondisi kesehatan hewan peliharaan, ternak, atau satwa lainnya

2. Diagnosa menentukan jenis penyakit atau gangguan kesehatan berdasarkan gejala dan hasil pemeriksaan

3. Melakukan operasi atau tindakan medis. Misalnya operasi kecil, sterilisasi, penjahitan luka, atau tindakan darurat lainnya

4. Menjelaskan cara merawat hewan, pemberian makanan yang tepat, kebersihan, dan pencegahan penyakit (edukasi kepada pemilik hewan)

5. Mencegah penularan penyakit dari hewan ke manusia (berperan dalam kesehatan masyarakat dengan mengendalikan penyakit zoonosis, seperti rabies)

6. Memastikan hewan diperlakukan dengan baik dan tidak mengalami kekerasan atau penelantaran

7. Merancang dan menerapkan program vaksinasi, perawatan kesehatan, dan pemantauan untuk memastikan kesehatan hewan secara keseluruhan

8. Menjaga catatan medis yang rapi dan akurat serta memberikan laporan berkala tentang status kesehatan hewan

9. Bekerja sama dengan team operasional untuk memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik

Kualifikasi:

1. Pendidikan Profesi Dokter Hewan
2. Memiliki STRV aktif
3. Fresh graduate dipersilakan melamar
4. Menyukai hewan, passion, dan mempunyai komunikasi yang baik
5. Bersedia bekerja shift dan weekend
6. Mempunyai kemauan belajar yang tinggi
