Domestic Cleaner

Job Overview

We are looking for reliable, responsible and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaners to join our team.

The role mainly involves providing cleaning services for student accommodation and residential properties near universities across the UK. Services may include regular cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in cleaning and end-of-tenancy cleaning.

This is a part-time and flexible role, with working hours depending on customer bookings and your availability. Cleaners will normally work within their preferred local area and may be required to travel between different customer properties.

We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, maintain high cleaning standards and provide a professional and friendly service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning in student accommodation and residential properties
• Clean bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms and communal areas
• Vacuum, mop and clean floors and surfaces
• Clean kitchen worktops, sinks, appliances and cupboards where required
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, toilets and high-touch areas
• Carry out deep cleaning, move-in cleaning and end-of-tenancy cleaning when required
• Remove rubbish and leave properties clean, tidy and organised
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
• Follow cleaning checklists and complete each job to a high standard
• Communicate professionally with customers and the team
• Report any damage, maintenance issues or additional cleaning requirements where necessary

Requirements

• Previous domestic or professional cleaning experience is preferred, but not essential
• Reliable, punctual and responsible
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently and follow instructions
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable carrying out physical tasks including standing, bending and lifting
• Able to travel to different customer properties within your local working area
• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Flexible availability, including some weekends during busy periods, is preferred

Opportunities are available across multiple UK university cities. Applicants can work within their preferred local area.

Pay: £12.00-£18.00 per hour
