Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchens and bathrooms by sanitizing sinks, toilets, countertops, and appliances
• Restock supplies like toiletries, cleaning products, and paper goods to ensure readiness for ongoing use
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Respond promptly to specific client requests or special cleaning instructions
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards and report any maintenance issues

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus
• Basic cooking skills are desirable for preparing light refreshments or assisting with meal-related tasks when necessary
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout the shift
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
• Prior experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous but not required

Pay: £12.71-£18.59 per hour
