Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care tailored to each individual’s needs, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Support clients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols.
• Assist with meal preparation to ensure nutritious and enjoyable dining experiences.
• Manage behavior and provide emotional support for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive impairments.
• Conduct light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands safely and responsibly.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or urgent needs using first aid skills when necessary, ensuring client safety at all times.

Experience

Desire:

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable.
• Proven caregiving experience with elderly or vulnerable populations, including dementia and hospice care.
• Knowledge of medication administration, behavior management techniques, and health & safety procedures.
• Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and senior care best practices.
• Valid driving license with a clean driving record for transportation duties.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and assisting with mobility needs.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards clients and their families.

Essential:

• We are looking for carer's around the Havering , Hornchurch , Rainham and areas around the London Borough of Havering. (RM 1, RM 3, RM 11, RM 12, RM 13 & RM14)

Pay: £12.84-£14.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
