Duties

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service delivery.
• Supervise and motivate team members to ensure efficient shift management and exceptional customer service.
• Manage inventory control processes, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained through proper food handling and kitchen management practices.
• Train new staff members on food production techniques, customer service protocols, and safety procedures.
• Support the management team in analyzing profit and loss reports to optimize restaurant performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a focus on food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Demonstrated supervisory or assistant manager experience within the food industry or hospitality sector.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience required.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and food handling procedures.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop staff members.
• Basic math skills for inventory control, budgeting, and sales analysis.
• Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities for managerial tasks such as interviewing and staff training.
