Donor Engagement and Fundraising Officer

The Donor Engagement and Fundraising Officer will have a strong background in: planning, coordinating and implementing ambitious fundraising goals, campaigns, and revenue growth; personally developing relationships with major donors, prospects, private foundations, and the local community to secure recurring gifts; and working collaboratively across the organization to achieve shared goals.

The strengths and experience of the ideal Donor Engagement and Fundraising Officer includes: (1) in-depth knowledge of donor engagement models, such as Moves Management, in developing relationships with major donors and foundations to secure significant gifts (2) demonstrated ability to develop and successfully implement ambitious fundraising growth plans and campaigns; (3) skilled in coaching Senior Leadership members on optimizing growth revenue from programs, events, and campaigns; and (4) strong collaboration skills that can work closely with cross-departmental teams and the Board of Directors to successfully execute campaigns.

Major Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an ambitious and diversified revenue growth strategic plan including but not limited to: events and campaign fundraisers, donor subscription models, sponsorships through foundation partner development, merchandise and other sale ventures, and major gifts donor engagement.
• Continually track and report fundraising and campaign financial analyses for the Senior Leadership team on progress toward revenue goals. This would include monthly donations revenue, number of subscription donors, number of sponsors, sponsorship revenue, number of sale venture streams, and revenue from sales.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Event Planning, Finance, and Operational Strategy teams, as well as the Board of Directors, to align fundraising initiatives with organizational programs and successfully execute campaigns leveraging internal resources and external partnerships.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in fundraising, non-profit partnerships, donor engagement, and campaign execution.
• A proven track record of meeting fundraising targets through diverse channels (events, point-of-sale, major gifts) with demonstrated experience in creating and executing successful fundraising campaigns.
• Demonstrated ability to create financial strategic plans and analysis reports.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
• A solid understanding of the non-profit fund development landscape.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building partnerships and donor relations, as well as collaborating across the organization.

Pay: From $17.95 per hour
