Do You Thrive in Uncertainty and Find Purpose in Helping Others?

As a Donor Support Specialist, you'll help families navigate one of the most difficult moments of their lives while playing a critical role in restoring sight and transforming lives through donation.

If you thrive in ambiguity, enjoy solving complex problems, and can adapt as situations evolve, you'll excel in this role! Every case is different, requiring attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to balance empathy with critical thinking.

What You'll Do:

  • Speak with donor families experiencing grief and guiding them through the donation process.
  • Review donor's medical records, complete questionnaires, and communicate with medical staff to determine donor suitability.
  • Coordinate with funeral homes, medical examiner offices, and hospitals to dispatch Recovery Technicians to donor locations.
  • Analyze complex situations, make informed decisions, and adapt as new information becomes available.
  • Work independently and as a team to make critical decisions and solve problems relating to donation criteria.

What You'll Gain:

  • Meaningful work on a supportive team that directly impacts donors, recipients, and their families.
  • Flexible hybrid schedule with only 7 in-office days per month and the ability to choose your office days.
  • A rotating schedule that provides weekdays off for rest, appointments, and personal time.
  • Comprehensive benefits and paid wellness breaks.
  • Opportunities to continually learn, grow, and develop critical decision-making skills.
  • No donation experience required – we'll provide the training and resources you need to learn the role.

The Challenge:

This is not a routine, predictable role. Every shift brings new situations and unique challenges:

  • Navigating difficult and emotional conversations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Evaluating complex information and make sound decisions in time-sensitive situations.
  • Adapting quickly as priorities shift and new information becomes available.
  • Balancing attention to detail with critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Working holidays and weekends - The donation industry requires 24/7 coverage
