Position: Donut Maker

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a variety of donuts according to standard recipes.
• Handle the complete donut-making process, including dough preparation, proofing, frying/baking, filling, glazing, and decoration.
• Prepare different fillings, creams, toppings, glazes, and coatings.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, size, quality, and presentation.
• Develop new donut flavors and creative designs based on product requirements.
• Maintain proper handling, storage, and temperature control of ingredients and finished products.
• Follow production schedules and meet daily production targets.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the production area, equipment, and tools.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Minimize wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
• Coordinate with the Production Manager and bakery team to ensure smooth production.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience as a Donut Maker, Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience in preparing and decorating different types of donuts.
• Good knowledge of dough preparation, proofing, frying/baking, fillings, glazing, and decoration.
• Creative with strong attention to detail and presentation.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent product quality.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Bakery or confectionery experience in the UAE is preferred.
