Door Fabricator

Position Summary

RoMac Building Supply in Leesburg, FL is seeking an experienced, dependable and detail-oriented Door Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The Door Fabricator will be responsible for building, assembling, and preparing residential and commercial doors according to company specifications and customer orders. This position requires the ability to safely operate tools and equipment, read measurements accurately, and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced production environment. With over 700 employees RoMac Building Supply is one of Florida's premier residential and commercial building material suppliers. A family owned company. We have been in business since 1945.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble and fabricate doors using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment
• Measure, cut, drill, and prepare materials according to specifications
• Install hardware, glass, inserts, and other door components
• Read and interpret work orders and production schedules
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, carpentry, woodworking, or fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift up over 75 pounds and stand for extended periods

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday – Friday
• Overtime available as needed
