As a Residential Garage Door Installer at idcAutomatic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe an efficient installation of garage doors for our residential clients. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will be essential in delivering a seamless experience to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Garage Door Installation: Install a wide range of residential garage doors, including sectional, roll-up, and custom-designed doors according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Component Assembly: Assemble and install door panels, springs, tracks, hinges, rollers, glass, and other hardware components required for garage door systems.
• Low Voltage Wiring: Connect and test garage door openers, sensors, and remote control/key pad systems, ensuring they operate correctly and safely.
• Alignment and Calibration: Perform adjustments, alignments, and calibration to ensure smooth and proper functioning of garage doors, including opener settings and safety features.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations including materials used, work completed, and any issues encountered. Submit necessary paperwork and reports promptly.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Knowledge of safe use of power and hand tools.
• Low Voltage wiring and trouble shooting abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record as well as ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver large and heavy garage door components.
• Safety conscious and ability to adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and industry standards.
• Contribute to a spirit of cooperation and teamwork within and between departments.
• Demonstrate and uphold Company values.
