Door Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests while effectively managing any potential risks. This position requires a proactive individual with strong observational skills and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the venue, ensuring only authorised individuals enter.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid when necessary and coordinating with emergency services if required.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property.
• Maintain detailed records of incidents, visitor logs, and any actions taken during shifts.
• Work collaboratively with other security personnel and staff members to uphold safety standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in a security role is preferred, particularly as a Door Supervisor or similar position.
• Proficiency in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is essential.
• Knowledge of first aid practices is advantageous; certification is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are crucial for this role.
• SIA License is mandorary
