About the role

We’re looking for reliable, approachable SIA-licensed staff to help keep people and premises safe. You could work at pubs, bars, live music venues, festivals, sporting fixtures and private events.

Your duties will depend on the assignment and your training.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide a professional, reassuring security presence.
• Manage entry, check tickets or identification and enforce venue policies.
• Carry out authorised searches in line with your training and assignment instructions.
• Monitor queues, crowd movement and access points.
• Patrol designated areas and identify safety or security concerns.
• Handle conflict calmly, using communication and de-escalation skills.
• Support vulnerable guests and refer welfare or medical concerns to the appropriate team.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies within your training.
• Maintain clear radio communication and accurate incident reports.
• Attend briefings and follow instructions from supervisors and event control.

What we’re looking for

• A valid SIA licence appropriate to the assignment; a Door Supervisor licence is required for door supervision work.
• Strong communication skills and a calm, respectful approach.
• Reliability, punctuality and a professional appearance.
• The ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• The right to work in the UK and willingness to complete our onboarding and vetting process.

Previous experience in security, hospitality or events is welcome. First aid, crowd management and spectator safety qualifications are an advantage. Driving and access to transport are helpful for some assignments.

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 per week

Work Location: In person
