Door Supervisor/Security

Job Overview

We are seeking dynamic and vigilant Door Supervisor/Security professionals for the Uppermill area/Oldham to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. You will be the first point of contact for anyone entering the venue, responsible for maintaining a safe environment through proactive surveillance, loss prevention strategies, and excellent customer service. Your keen eye for detail and ability to handle challenging situations with confidence will be vital in creating a welcoming yet secure atmosphere for all. You must be available weekends only and have at least 1 years experience in Pubs/Club venues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit points to control access, verifying identification and authorizations for staff, visitors, and contractors
• Enforce venue policies and procedures while maintaining a professional, approachable demeanor at all times
• Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, providing first aid when necessary and coordinating with emergency services as required
• Maintain accurate records of security activities, incident reports, and CCTV footage logs
• Conduct routine patrols of the premises to ensure safety standards are upheld and identify any hazards or breaches in security

Requirements

• Proven experience in security or surveillance roles, preferably within busy venues or entertainment settings at least 1 year experience on Bars
• Ability to perform loss prevention duties effectively while maintaining excellent customer relations
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confrontations calmly and professionally
• Vigilant attitude with keen attention to detail in monitoring activity and identifying risks
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods during shifts
• Must live

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
