About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a professional and courteous Doorman to join our facilities management team at a premier location in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for our clients, visitors, and tenants. As a Doorman, you will be the first point of contact for all individuals entering the building, setting the tone for their experience whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, security, and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet visitors, clients, and tenants with a warm and professional demeanour upon arrival at the building
• Monitor and control building access, verifying credentials and maintaining a visitor log in accordance with security protocols
• Assist visitors and tenants with directions and information about building facilities and services
• Perform security checks and inspections of the building entrance and surrounding areas throughout your shift
• Answer telephone inquiries and direct calls to appropriate tenants or departments
• Maintain a clean and presentable appearance and ensure the entrance area is kept neat and organised at all times
• Assist with the coordination of deliveries, ensuring all packages are properly received and logged
• Respond promptly to requests for assistance from tenants, visitors, and other building staff members
• Report any security concerns, maintenance issues, or suspicious activities to management immediately
• Support other facilities management team members as needed to ensure smooth building operations

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience as a Doorman, security personnel, or in a similar customer-facing role within facilities management or hospitality
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills for security and safety purposes
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform duties involving lifting and moving objects
• Knowledge of basic security protocols and access control procedures
• Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
• Flexibility to work shifts that may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion regarding building operations and tenant information
• Valid identification documents and willingness to undergo background checks
