Job Summary:

Deja Vu is looking for a reliable, alert, and professional Doorman to join our late-night team. In this role, you will be the first face our guests see, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and controlled environment. Shifts run from 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM. If you have a strong physical presence, excellent conflict-de-escalation skills, and thrive in a fast-paced nightlife environment, we want you on our team!

The safety of our staff and guests is our top priority. We are seeking a sharp, dependable, and authoritative Doorman to manage our entrance, verify IDs, and maintain a safe atmosphere inside and around the premises.

Shift Schedule:

• Hours: 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM.
• Perfect for night owls or those looking for an engaging late-night role.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

• ID & Entry Control: Greet guests at the door, strictly verify identification/age requirements, and manage the flow of entry.
• Maintain Safety: Monitor the crowd and premises to prevent incidents and maintain a secure environment.
• Conflict Resolution: Calmly, professionally, and decisively de-escalate verbal or physical conflicts if they arise.
• Ejections: Firmly and safely escort non-compliant or disruptive individuals off the premises.
• Team Support: Work closely with the barista/management team to ensure closing duties at 4:00 AM go smoothly and safely.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements):

• Must be available for late-night shifts (11:00 PM – 4:00 AM).
• Must have a commanding and strong physical presence suitable for security/doorman duties.
• Prior experience in security, nightclub/bar door control, law enforcement, or military is highly preferred.
• Exceptional situational awareness and the ability to remain calm and authoritative under pressure.
• Ability to stand for the entirety of the 5-hour shift and physically intervene in conflicts if absolutely necessary for safety.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
