Quell Protection Services is a licensed security company serving upscale restaurants, lounges, and nightlife venues throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We're hiring experienced, professional doormen to represent our clients at some of Dallas's top hospitality venues.

Position Overview

We're looking for reliable, well-presented doormen to manage entry, guest flow, and venue security at high-end restaurants, lounges, and clubs. This role is the first impression for guests — professionalism and composure are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage door entry, guest lists, and capacity control
• Check IDs and verify age compliance
• Maintain a calm, professional presence while managing crowds
• De-escalate conflicts and enforce venue policies
• Communicate effectively with management and fellow security staff
• Represent the venue and Quell Protection Services with a polished, upscale demeanor

Requirements

• Texas Level II Security License (required)
• Professional appearance and demeanor suited for upscale environments
• Strong communication and conflict de-escalation skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work nights/weekends
• Prior door/venue security experience preferred

Pay & Schedule

• Starting at $18/hour
• Flexible shifts across multiple DFW venues
• 1099 contractor position
