DOT Delivery Driver

Job Summary

JSA Logistics is hiring dependable, safety-focused DOT Delivery Drivers to join our growing delivery operation in Cheektowaga, NY.

Our drivers operate company-provided delivery vehicles while completing local package delivery routes throughout Western New York. If you're a reliable, motivated driver who enjoys working independently while being part of a strong team, we'd love to hear from you.

To be considered for this position, drivers must either have a valid CDL or at least one year of experience driving box trucks.

Responsibilities

To be considered for this position, candidates must:

• Be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Have a clean and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain/maintain a valid DOT Medical Certificate
• Be able to pass a DOT-compliant drug screening
• Successfully complete all required background checks and pre-employment screenings
• Be able to safely lift, carry, maneuver, and deliver packages weighing 50+ lbs
• Be physically capable of frequent lifting, bending, reaching, walking, climbing stairs, and entering/exiting a delivery vehicle repeatedly throughout the shift
• Be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow
• Be able to safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle
• Demonstrate strong safety awareness and defensive driving skills
• Be dependable, punctual, and able to report to scheduled shifts consistently
• Be able to use a smartphone/mobile delivery device, GPS, and delivery applications
• Be able to work independently while maintaining regular communication with dispatch and management
• Maintain a professional attitude and provide excellent customer service
• Be willing to work as part of a team and uphold JSA Logistics' core values of Commitment, Safety, Customer Service, and Teamwork
• Previous commercial driving, step van, box truck, or package delivery experience is preferred

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
