1. Job Purpose

The Senior .NET Developer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of software applications and related systems throughout the two-year contract period.

The position will support the successful implementation and ongoing development of project requirements by developing reliable, scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software applications using .NET technologies.
• Develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET / .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Develop and maintain web applications, RESTful APIs, backend services, and supporting components.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Design and implement scalable and maintainable application architectures.
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party systems, APIs, and other enterprise platforms.
• Work with relational databases and develop efficient database queries, stored procedures, and data-access components.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications.
• Identify and resolve application defects, performance issues, and technical problems.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards and development best practices.
• Develop secure applications while following appropriate authentication, authorization, data protection, and application security practices.
• Maintain technical documentation, system documentation, source code, and deployment documentation.
• Support application deployment, configuration, upgrades, and production releases.
• Monitor application performance and implement improvements where required.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications based on project requirements and user feedback.
• Collaborate with project managers, business users, system administrators, database administrators, and other technical team members.
• Participate in system integration activities and troubleshoot integration-related issues.
• Support continuous improvement and modernization of existing software systems.
• Ensure software development activities are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Provide technical support during implementation, testing, deployment, and post-deployment activities.
• Perform any other software development and technical duties relevant to the project.

3. Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of senior-level experience in .NET development.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core.
• Practical experience with ASP.NET Core and web application development.
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with software development lifecycle processes, including development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, and application architecture.
