Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Support Engineer with hands-on software development and technical support experience, preferably in .NET technologies, to join our Azure Development Support team. The candidate will work directly with developer customers to debug applications, troubleshoot complex technical issues, correct code, and provide effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to developer customers through telephone, email, and chat.
• Debug applications, troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and assist with code corrections.
• Resolve complex web application and software development issues.
• Support Microsoft development technologies and Azure-related services.
• Investigate HTTP requests, IIS configurations, web servers, and application performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve customer problems.
• Communicate technical findings, issue status, and resolution steps clearly to customers.

Mandatory Technical Skills (Must-Have)

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in software development and technical support.
• Strong programming knowledge in .NET technologies, particularly C# or C++.
• Mandatory knowledge of Azure Infrastructure Services.
• Hands-on experience with web application troubleshooting and debugging.
• Knowledge of Microsoft development technologies and Windows or internet application development.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience resolving complex technical issues in customer-facing environments.

Good-to-Have Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with HTTP, SOAP, HTTP headers, cookies, and end-to-end request handling.
• Knowledge of Internet Information Services (IIS) configuration and request processing.
• Understanding of the .NET Framework and application development using C# and VB.NET.
• Knowledge of MVC frameworks and web application architecture.
• Working knowledge of Visual Studio and the Azure SDK.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, web servers, and Microsoft web technologies.
• Familiarity with ASP, VB6, COM, DCOM, and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
• Experience in web application development, consulting, or technical support for Microsoft client-server technologies.
