.NET Developer (Contract)

• £325/day Outside IR35
• Hybrid | Central London (2 days per week onsite)
• Initial 6-Month Contract

We're looking for a hands-on .NET Developer to join a growing technology team working on a mix of established business applications and modern cloud-based solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys solving real business problems, enhancing existing systems, and contributing to ongoing modernisation projects.

You'll be working across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with business stakeholders and technical colleagues to deliver reliable, scalable applications that support key business operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance applications built with C# and .NET
• Work across both legacy and modern web applications
• Build and optimise SQL Server databases, queries and stored procedures
• Support application upgrades and modernisation initiatives
• Develop and consume REST APIs
• Troubleshoot defects and resolve production issues
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams and stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies

Essential Skills

• Strong commercial experience with C#
• .NET Framework and/or .NET Core
• ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core
• SQL Server and T-SQL
• JavaScript and web application development
• Git version control
• Experience supporting and enhancing business-critical applications

• Entity Framework
