Role Description As a Dotnet Developer at Metacore, you will work full time on-site in Helsinki, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and tools supporting our games. Your daily tasks will include implementing new features using .NET technologies, writing clean and testable code, and optimizing performance and reliability of existing systems. You will collaborate closely with game developers, designers, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration between game clients and server-side components. The role also involves participating in code reviews, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to technical documentation and continuous improvement of development practices.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills with experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Software Development principles.
• Proficiency in .NET Core and related frameworks for building scalable and maintainable applications.
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC or similar web application frameworks.
• Familiarity with modern development practices such as version control, unit testing, and continuous integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and communicate clearly in English.
• Experience with game backend development, cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS), or RESTful APIs is an advantage.
• Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
