Job Title: .NET Developer

Experience Required: 3+ years

Location: Chennai

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Developer to join our offshore team for development of SEIBI project, which includes upgrading .NET applications, Oracle databases, and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET and Oracle technologies, proven experience in upgrade/migration projects, and excellent communication skills. This role will be responsible for development and execution of the upgrade process to ensure seamless transition with minimum business disruption.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Execution
• Study existing system to understand the scope of SEIBI project with guidance from Tech Lead
• Execute development of applications based on user stories set by Tech Lead
• Provide regular updates on task status and outcomes to Tech Lead
• Maintain application source codes in AzureDevOps and ensure necessary development processes such as source check-in, source check-out, resolve code conflicts are followed
• Create and execute comprehensive testing (unit, integration, regression, and performance) throughout the project life cycle
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues arise during the project life cycle
• Prepare application deployment and environment setup checklist
• Quality & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards
• SEIBI projects completed within the schedule
• Follow IOP for the SEIBI projects
• Implement and verify backup, rollback, and disaster recovery plans before and after the upgrade.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Developer in technology upgrade projects for .NET and Oracle environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET (Framework/Core) and Oracle databases.
• Experience with server administration (Windows), virtualization, and cloud or on-premise environments.
• Experience in AzureDevOps task management and source repository
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge and experience in NodeJS.
