Double Backer Operator - 2nd Shift

About the Role:

The Double Backer Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process within the non-durable goods sector by operating and maintaining double-backing machinery to ensure high-quality product output. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to monitor machine performance, adjust settings, and troubleshoot issues, ensuring consistent production standards are maintained. The operator will collaborate closely with quality control and maintenance teams to optimize workflow and minimize downtime. 2nd Shift Hours - 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Monday - Friday - Weekend work may be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery, preferably in non-durable goods production.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret production documents and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience specifically with double backing or similar machinery.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking.
• Certification in industrial safety or equipment operation.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime as needed.
