Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Double Weekend Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate healthcare team. Duties

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support for patients and residents.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, accurately documenting all findings in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems).
• Support clinical staff with patient transfers using proper manual handling techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts.
• Provide compassionate care tailored to individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during patient interactions.
• Assist with medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans and communicate any changes or concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Valid CNA certification with current state licensure.
• Prior experience working as a CNA or in a similar healthcare setting such as long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, or hospitals.
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, and basic nursing skills.
• Experience working with diverse populations including geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring specialized dementia or memory care.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), medical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely while following safe lifting practices.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Flexibility to work weekends consistently on a double shift schedule and adapt to varying patient needs.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
