Dozer Operator – FIFO Mining | 2/1 Roster

We are seeking experienced Dozer Operators to join our mining operations on a FIFO 2/1 roster, working day and night shifts.

The successful candidates will operate dozers to support production mining activities, including push operations, dump construction, stockpile management and general earthworks. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, equipment care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate dozers to complete push operations, dump construction, clean-up activities and general earthworks.
• Construct and maintain dump areas, tip heads, ramps, windrows and bunding in accordance with site requirements.
• Manage stockpiles and material movement to support production targets.
• Monitor ground conditions, dump stability and work area hazards, reporting concerns promptly.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks, reporting defects and maintenance requirements.
• Follow mine plans, operational instructions and site procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with Supervisors and other operators.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and equipment care.
• Comply with all site health, safety and environmental requirements.

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience operating dozers in open-pit mining operations.
• Experience in push operations, dump construction and general earthworks.
• Strong understanding of safe operating practices and ground condition awareness.
• Relevant dozer competencies or Verification of Competency (VOC).
• Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to changing operational priorities.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Ability to pass site medical and drug and alcohol screening requirements.
