DPD Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a van to deliver parcels to various locations within your designated route.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and punctuality.
• Handle packages with care, including heavy lifting and secure loading/unloading at warehouses and customer sites.
• Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, proof of delivery, and route documentation.
• Conduct vehicle inspections daily to ensure safety standards are met and report any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff for timely parcel sorting and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with commercial driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving vans or similar commercial vehicles is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with logistics processes.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best driving practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing outstanding customer service.

Pay: £120.00-£160.00 per day
