FULL TIME DPW TECHNICIAN

Starting Pay: $27.00 per hour | Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week

The Town of Madison is looking for a dependable, hardworking Technician to join our Department of Public Works! If you enjoy working outdoors, operating heavy equipment, and taking pride in your community, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

• Perform road maintenance, snow removal, and general public works duties.
• Operate heavy equipment, including dump trucks, loaders, graders, backhoes, and snowplows.
• Maintain town roads, drainage systems, and public infrastructure.
• Perform snow removal, road repairs, and seasonal maintenance for winter operations.
• Assist with other DPW operations and emergency storm response as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid CDL Class B (required).
• At least one year of heavy equipment experience or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and respond to emergencies.
