What they need

Company Overview

Beer Line Cleaning USA is a specialized draft system service company focused on cleaning, maintaining, repairing, and installing commercial draft beer systems. We work with bars, restaurants, breweries, and large venues to ensure their systems operate correctly and consistently deliver high-quality beer.

Our work is detail-driven, technical, and essential to product quality, system reliability, and customer satisfaction. We take pride in doing the job the right way—using proper procedures, professional equipment, and industry best practices. Joining our team means being part of a company that values precision, accountability, and craftsmanship in a highly specialized trade.

Position Overview

Draft System Technician / Refrigeration Technician (HVAC-R)

This role is primarily a Draft System Technician position, with additional responsibility for commercial refrigeration and HVAC-R service calls when they arise.

The technician will perform hands-on work cleaning, maintaining, repairing, and installing draft beer systems, while also responding to refrigeration-related service calls involving walk-in coolers, kegerators, glycol systems, and other commercial refrigeration equipment. Refrigeration and HVAC-R work represents a high-earning opportunity, compensated through commission-based pay for those calls.

This position is ideal for a technician who holds refrigeration licenses or certifications and wants to apply those skills while working primarily in the draft beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities

Draft System Work (Primary Responsibility)

  • Clean and sanitize draft beer systems to ensure consistent, high-quality pours
  • Disassemble, service, and rebuild faucets, couplers, and related components
  • Diagnose and correct issues such as foam, leaks, temperature problems, and flow restrictions
  • Perform draft system modifications, upgrades, and full installations
  • Work with pressurized beer and gas systems, including CO2, nitrogen, and blended gas
  • Document service work accurately and communicate findings professionally to customers

Refrigeration & HVAC-R Work (Secondary / Commission-Based)

  • Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems related to draft and beverage equipment
  • Service walk-in coolers, reach-ins, kegerators, and associated refrigeration components
  • Respond to HVAC-R service calls as they come in
  • Perform repairs in compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Refrigeration and HVAC-R calls are compensated at a high commission rate, providing significant earning potential

Skills & Requirements

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check
  • Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance (used during the initial training period)
  • Willingness to travel to service accounts within your city and neighboring areas
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Required / Preferred Experience

  • Experience in draft systems, mechanical trades, HVAC, plumbing, or refrigeration
  • Required: Valid refrigeration license(s) and/or HVAC-R certifications
  • EPA certification (Type I, II, or Universal) preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
  • Comfortable working in walk-in coolers, basements, and tight mechanical spaces

Work Environment

  • Field-based position with daily travel to customer locations
  • Work in bars, restaurants, breweries, stadiums, and commercial venues
  • Physical work involving lifting, bending, twisting, squatting, tools, chemicals, kegs, and gas tanks

Training & Support

We provide hands-on training specific to draft system service, even for experienced technicians. You will work alongside experienced team members during the initial training period, learning our procedures, standards, and systems.

Ongoing support is provided as you grow in both draft system and refrigeration responsibilities.

Compensation & Travel

  • Competitive hourly pay for draft system work
  • High commission pay for refrigeration and HVAC-R repair calls
  • Mileage reimbursement: $0.30 per mile for work-related travel
  • Gas, tolls, and parking fully covered by the company
